NTF in partnership with SHF to celebrate world mental health day.

Mental health encompasses a state of overall well-being, wherein an individual recognizes their own potential, effectively manages the normal stresses of life, and can contribute meaningfully to their community. It is important to understand that mental health extends beyond the scope of mental illness and disabilities. Instead, it is an integral component of overall health and well-being. The World Health Organization (WHO) Constitution defines health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, emphasizing that health is not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

On this significant day, October 10th, which is recognized globally as World Mental Health Day, the Nnaedozie Thomas Foundation joined forces with the Saint Hermanguild Foundation to raise awareness about mental health. Together, they embarked on an initiative to support the Destitutes Home Umuneke Ngor Okpala, in line with their commitment to promoting mental health.
