In a continued effort to promote community health and well-being, the Nnaedozie Thomas Foundation (NTF) partnered with the Red Cross to organize a comprehensive health workshop focused on breast cancer and high blood pressure awareness, testing, and treatment.
The outreach program, held at Satellite town, Lagos, aimed to educate participants on the importance of early detection, regular screening, and lifestyle choices that help prevent these life-threatening conditions. The event drew hundreds of attendees, including women, men, and the elderly, eager to benefit from the free medical services offered.

Participants received free blood pressure checks, breast cancer screenings, health counseling, and referrals for follow-up care as needed. Experienced medical professionals and health educators provided one-on-one guidance, debunked myths, and shared practical health tips tailored to the community’s needs.
Speaking at the event, a representative from NTF emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to bridging healthcare gaps in underserved communities and ensuring that health education reaches even the most remote areas.
The Red Cross also praised the collaboration, highlighting the value of community partnerships in saving lives and promoting preventive healthcare. The workshop concluded with a renewed call for regular health checks and sustained public health awareness..
